• →Long Beach is in SCE territory. Southern California Edison distributes electricity to Long Beach residential customers. NEM 3.0 (Net Billing) applies to SCE solar customers, making battery self-consumption the dominant strategy for solar-paired Powerwall systems. LADWP does not serve Long Beach.
• →NEM 3.0 and self-consumption. Under Net Billing, SCE export credit rates are significantly lower than under prior NEM 2.0. A Powerwall stores excess daytime solar and releases it during the SCE evening peak rate window — replacing grid power at full retail rate rather than exporting at the reduced credit rate. Actual value depends on your specific rate plan and usage.
• →SGIP eligibility. SGIP rebates may apply to qualifying Powerwall installations in Long Beach. Eligibility depends on reservation window, funding, battery size, income tier, and current program rules. Rebates are subject to approval. We review during your estimate.

What Powerwall covers during a Long Beach outage.
