Purchases at night, export-credit rules, fixed charges, rate plans and changing usage can affect the bill. Loan, lease or PPA payments are separate. Ask for a utility-specific estimate showing gross project cost, remaining utility charges and the assumptions behind savings, not only an offset percentage.
Ask for manufacturer names, complete model numbers, panel quantity, wattage, inverter configuration and warranty documents. Compare the final equipment schedule with delivered equipment labels and installation records. Before accepting a proposed substitution, request the reason and any effect on design, approvals, output, appearance, warranty and price in writing.
