The final proposal should separate Powerwall equipment, Gateway or backup panel scope, permit assumptions, LADWP steps, incentives, financing and excluded loads.

Whole-home vs. essential-load backup for Westwood homes.

• →Whole-home backup. Whole-home backup may support broader home loads when battery count, electrical capacity, panel configuration and load management are designed correctly. Backup duration is not fixed.
• →Essential-load backup. Selected critical circuits such as refrigeration, key lighting, internet, medical devices and outlets can be separated onto a backup-load panel. Non-backed-up loads remain outside the battery system. Backup duration is not fixed.
